The AFGHAN children's America Tour has begun, and it is going spectacularly well. Even Mother Nature is cooperating, with a mild winter and easy driving down from Boston to D.C. A note to all those in the U.S. State Department, the AFCECO troupe is giving a presentation for Ambassador Vermeer in Washington D.C. on this Friday, January 13th at 11am. It is going to be broadcast on the internal network, so if you wish you can experience the tour virtually.
Ian Pounds, teacher and coordinator of the tour and Nasrin, education coordinator for AFCECO are eager to share their journey with the six children as it happens, so a blog has been started. It will be updated at least once a week with stories and photos. You access the blog on AFCECO's web site.
